met up with my boos yesterday after a while without meeting. we walked around and finally settled down at bugis starbucks (where else?). drank coffee, chilled, talked. ali joined us later on.
kat and dil is depressed by work, im depressed by school and ali.. well ali is just fine. one of us at the table has to be.
i want to work. not full time, just work, so that i have money. im tired of going around with measly dollars in my wallet. yes, aku tahu aku patut bersyukur yang aku ade duit but still i wish i had more (not that i cant live with less, i can). with that said, im not sure what im talking about anymore but i have a point somewhere.
kat was merajuking because her dad refused to buy for her an mp3 but her dad buys everything else for her siblings. i know exactly how she feels and feeling that way is an effing pain. i know, i know, instead of complaining i should do something about it. that's why i want to work. but that prolly means i wont have any time for you, and you, and you, and you and you. i prolly wont have time to watch tv. no more being a couch potato. and all this for the sake of money. it's ridiculous how our mind is so plagued by money (or the lack of it).
oh yes, my point (finally). what amazes me is that i can live with less money but i dont want to. i dont exactly need more money but i want to have more money. i bet you (and you and you and you) would love that too. which brings me to the question why? why can we live with less but constantly want more? then we commit our selves to slavery to our jobs just so we can have that more. sometimes i wonder if it's greed. sometimes i think i wonder too much.
i've decided to teach english to primary school kids. not sure if that's gonna be a success but how does einstein know that he's a genius right? im just trying to be optimistic.
meeting the boos was fun. i wonder why we dont do it often. oh, right. they're working im schooling.
im just glad we're still around.
