will we meet on a moonlit charmer?

in typical teen movies, the guy drops the girl off after a date and sends her to her door, then leans forward (90% according to Alex Hitchins in the movie Hitch) to kiss her goodnight. The girl then gives him a hug and a cute little giggle. and then the girl watches as the guy go back to his car and drive off. both wave. and both give little sighs, the girl more of course. then the girl runs off to her room and write loveydovey notes on her diary. but that's not the point.

on nights that he send me home, i cannot help but feel like the typical smitten girl on a first date. dont ask i dont get it either. the little flutters wont stop. i take out the helmet, helps him pack it. a hug and a peck, and then he's off. and i stand there and watch him go. he turns and smile and i wave every single time. waving is a must (although not in the boisterous way. just in a more ladylike way, the one that will go well with a white handkerchief). albeit the fact that he dont actually send me to my doorstep or block for that matter (for fear of being spotted, point of dropoff is two blocks away), the scene is quite the same.

i can most certainly get used to this everyday. but not to worry, i wouldnt impose that on you silly boy. it always will be something that i look forward to, this little 'ritual' of ours.

alahai, stop it you beating heart.
so captain my captain, when will i see you again?

I. O. U. upcoming weeks.
