as if the current price is not expensive enough. movie prices will increase by $1 for weekdays and $2 on weekends by may 1st, thus proving my parents' point that singapore is a bloody expensive place to live in.
let's pack up and move to johor, they say. of course we protest and came to a compromise that they can move to jb only after we get married. i dont really have anything against jb; they have great food but really ugly roads. no offence, but till they fill the many many portholes, i dont think i will change my residential address to across the bridge.
but really, arent we paying too much for less than two bloody hours of entertainment? ultimately you can buy or rent the vcd/dvd (no, im not promoting pirated vcds/dvds, buy original you gundoos) for half the amount and can watch it in the comfort of your own house. heck, you can even lie down and eat all you want.
