i have a lot to say about the woman who was leading the friday prayers in new york. however, i realise that im just a very opinionated girl in singapore whose words may be wrong and would probably not be heard. with the above sentence stated, i'll try to keep it at a minimal.
it really scares me to see the picture of her leading the friday prayers. i wonder what the world is coming to. yes, we women strive for equality but such equality can be achieved in everything else except religiously, in my opinion. though i admire their courage (a second woman lead the friday prayers too) you're going against what God said. that's a big no-no no matter which perspective you're seeing it from.
either way, read and think what you want. take your pick.
